  "An ordinary day.  Except that it's not."  Showing the beginning of seven high schoolers' days, everything seems like it always does.  The weight-conscious girls, the photographer, the jock. Eventually the movie focused on two close friends.  The pianist (Frost) and violent video game player spend their time buying guns online and watching Nazi programs on television, until they take things too far.  Gus Van Sant won the Palme d'Or prize for Columbine-based film.

In this thriller, 19-year-old Rae Pye, his girlfriend, and Tim Best (Frost) go camping.  Meeting two girls there, Rae decides to kill them for fun.  The "charismatic psycho" has never been proven guilty, and continues slowly to kill young females.  Charlie Shilling is determined to find to guns and put Rae in jail, so he pushes Rae over the limit.

"It's not about winning or losing.  It's about winning."  In this film, a girl named Billie is a chess champion with a great life.  Her practice parter, Achak (Frost), helps her get along even though he knows nothing about the sport.  One day at the biggest competition in chess, Billie loses... to Achak.  Causing a rift in their relation, they must find a resolution.

In the episode, "Ravenous", Alex Frost in guest-starred.  When a group of teens finds an officer's dog tags, the team is called to investigate.  Someone else was found with the officer, and the NCIS team is thinking that it is a serial killer.
